We offer a variety of services for you and your pets!

Because of the shorter lifespan of pets versus humans, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. 

Our diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic services include the following:


SURGICAL PROCEDURES including but not limited to:

Spay/Neuter

Spay/Neuter: provides many health benefits for your pet as well as helping to prevent shelter over-crowding and homeless pets by providing population control.


Dental Cleanings
Dental Cleanings: serve to improve your pets’ health and freshen their breath. While under anesthesia, we scale the plaque and tartar from the teeth, polish the teeth, x-ray and/or extract teeth as necessary, and apply fluoride and a sealant called Oravet.


Orthopedic surgery


Orthopedic surgery:
is provided for injuries such as fractures or torn ligaments. Whatever your orthopedic needs, Dr. Kim will be glad to help as she specializes in these types of surgeries.


Gastro-Intestinal/Exploratory
Gastro-Intestinal/Exploratory: Does your pet eat things that it shouldn’t? We know this can be problematic and at times requires surgical repair.

 


AnesthesiaAnesthesia: We provide two different types of inhalant anesthetics that supplement our injectable medications to provide the most comfortable and safest situation for your pet. We develop a plan based on your pet’s history and current needs.

Our certified veterinary technicians are monitoring your per at all times during procedures. We also have ECG and blood pressure monitors to provide extra margins of safety.


DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES:

To provide the best care for your pet, we provide these in house services:

Radiology

Radiology: We provide state of the art digital radiography to quickly produce images of your pet to aid in their diagnosis. We also have the ability to take dental radiographs.


Electrocardiography Services

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.


Dentistry
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.


Laboratory
Laboratory: We are able to obtain a sample of your pet’s blood or urine and have the ability to run several different analyses. This provides useful and necessary information to our doctors regarding your pet’s organ function, blood counts, testing for parasites and other disease processes.


Permanent identification
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification. This help reconnect lost pets with their owners.


Pharmacy
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.


Individualized Flea Control Programs

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.


Dietary Counseling
Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.


Behavioral Counseling
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, aggression, and other areas.


 Boarding
Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.


Emergency Care
Emergency Care:  We are fully equipped to help you and your pet with any emergency situation when the clinic is open. After hours, you can reach our Dr. at 217-840-7278. If need be we can refer you to the Animal Emergency Clinic in Champaign or the University or Illinois Small Animal Clinic.
