Animal Health Care Center

Positions for which we may have openings include:

Receptionist

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties. Veterinary Technicians

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs. This is only a partial list of duties.                                                                                       

Veterinarian Assistant

Responsible for animal handling, help with exams and restraint of patients, client communication, help obtain lab samples, walking or carrying patients, help technicians, bathing, cleaning, feeding, waste disposal, and running lab work. This is only a partial list of duties.

Kennel Assistant

Responsible for the care and comfort of our boarding guests, cleaning, feeding protocols, let-outs, keeping paperwork on each guest, bathing, nail trims, laundry, checking guests in and out through the computer, assisting other personnel as needed.  Must be able to lift 30# +. This is only a partial list of duties.
