Because of the shorter lifespan of pets versus humans, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best.
Our diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic services include the following:
SURGICAL PROCEDURES including but not limited to:
Spay/Neuter: which provide many health benefits for your pet and helps to prevent shelter overcrowding and homeless pets by providing population control.
Anesthesia: We provide two different types of inhalant anesthetics that supplement our injectable medications to provide the most comfortable and safest situation for your pet. We develop a plan based on your pet’s history and current needs.
Our certified veterinary technicians are monitoring your per at all times during procedures. We also have ECG and blood pressure monitors to provide extra margins of safety.
To provide the best care for your pet, we provide these in house services:
Radiology: We provide state of the art digital radiography to quickly produce images of your pet to aid in their diagnosis. We also have the ability to take dental radiographs.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Emergency Care: We are fully equipped to help you and your pet with any emergency situation when the clinic is open. After hours, you can reach one of our Dr.'s at 217-840-7278. If need be we can refer you to the Animal Emergency Clinic in Champaign or the University or Illinois Small Animal Clinic.
